Terrence O'Brien joined Rockwood Real Estate Advisors in 2011 as Managing Director. In this capacity, he is responsible for national investment sales, debt placement/advisory and structured equity placements with a concentration in the hospitality industry.

Mr. O'Brien is a highly respected lodging industry veteran with over 29 years of experience in the hospitality industry. His expertise encompasses single asset and portfolio sales in the select service and full service market segments. His experience in hotel real estate and operations allows him to consistently provide clients with an informed insight on hotel market conditions as well as concise and accurate property valuations. During his career, Mr. O'Brien has participated in over 100 hotel transactions, with an aggregate value exceeding $1.2 billion. Recently, Mr. O'Brien was instrumental in the sale of over 50 single hotel asset sales located throughout the United States.

Prior to joining Rockwood, Mr. O'Brien served more than 12 years as an executive with several national companies including Hilton Hotels, Manor Care Hotels, Sunburst Hospitality and Extended Stay America. His hospitality experience includes senior level positions in hotel real estate brokerage, operations, franchise sales and development, real estate acquisition and disposition, asset management, finance and new project development.

Mr. O'Brien is a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) and licensed Real Estate Broker.
